Just when you thought I was normal

I want a pet tarantula. My husband and daughter do not. I am trying to convince them that tarantulas are nothing to be feared, they are easy maintenance and they will come to love him/her. They aren't listening.

I had a neighbor growing up who had a pet tarantula. I was fascinated by it. He let me hold him and it was such a thrill. They can't be handled much, but don't mind being held every now and then. They aren't harmful to humans, and are really very docile animals as long as you do your research and get the right kind of tarantula.

Here is a guide to owning and taking care of a pet tarantula. I think I'll just buy it and keep it on the coffee table for Jason and Casey to look through on their own time. Don't get me wrong, I do hate finding spiders on my bathroom floor, or any other place they shouldn't be, but for some reason, I have never been scared of tarantulas. I have let them crawl all the way up my arm before, and it really is awesome. You should try it!

No interests in tarantula's here!

How are you feeling now that you've been on the Cipro a little?

How is your daughter feeling?

Casey is better. She still has a cough, but did go to school yesterday. I'm just waiting to see if I get it.. not in a pessimistic kind of way, just a realistic kind of way.

Cipro is making me nauseous and giving me diarrhea.. it always does, but I think my sinuses are starting to feel a little better. I seem to be getting more junk out with irrigation which means the abx is loosening things up.

How are you feeling Debbi?????

For real???? You are serious??
Oh My....I can't say I blame your hubby and daughter...I think it would take alot of convincing for me too! But on the other hand it I guess it would be cool to tell people your pet was a big furry spider!!
By the way...glad to hear Casey is better and praying that you dont get it...Sawyer started with a snotty/stuffy nose yesterday...I think it may just be his sinuses..due to this ever changing weather we have here!

just kidding, they are pretty cool,

Daniel Stern screaming like a sissy
when the tarantula was on his nose lol, classic...
We have had some strange pets too..

Aaaaaaack, so what is the attraction, do you just watch it through the glass? Do you teach it circus stunts? Gross!

I hope you keep feeling better and better!
Hope Casey beats her cooties too!

I am not afraid of spiders. I could see having one of these, but my dogs would probably eat it. I love birds however. I would love to have another one of those.
