Christy, what camera do you use? I have been looking at possibly getting a new camera now that I have such a beatuiful subject.

Layne,
I will definitely check that site out. Thanks so much!!!

Courtney,
I have a Canon Rebel XSi. It's a really great camera, I just need some good lenses for it. The lens I have is the "kit" lens that comes with it, and well.... it's just ok. The first lens I want to buy is a wide angle lens. Jason is saving to buy me one. :) Sweet hubby!

If I had to do it over again (although I do love my camera), I would buy the Canon 40D. I didn't realize when I bought it that I was going to get an interest in taking photography classes and possibly start taking professional photos. I just thought I was buying a camera to photograph my beautiful subject (like you, hehe) and vacations and such. Jason tried to talk me into the 40D when we bought this one, but I decided against it. Grrrr.. I should have listened to him.

Anyway, they have now come out with the 50D which I'm sure is AMAZING!!! They will always come out with new and better stuff as you know. I'm sure you also know that as long as you have a good camera body... it's the lens and the photographer (and sometimes the digital editing software) that make the difference. :) Good luck on your purchase. I am not a Nikon girl myself, but I do know they have cameras equal in quality to the Canon. It's just personal preference. Since I've always owned Canon, I'm more familiar with them. I also LOVE the online Canon community. They are awesome and so helpful!!

I have found Amazon to not only have the best prices on any electronics, but they also have free shipping, and as long as we've been buying things from them, they have never let us down. Good luck in whatever you choose!!!
