Prayer

How often do we hear people say that they are praying for us? How often do we say that we will be praying for them? Those words are so powerful, and when we say it, we need to mean it. People are counting on our prayers when we promise to pray for them. We should never take those words lightly. I think it's better to say "I'll be thinking of you", or "You are in my thoughts" instead of "I'll pray for you", if you don't mean it. Someone that I love and admire once told me this, and I really hadn't thought of it before that. I mean, I tried to make sure I prayed for people when I said I would, but I know that I would let it slip my mind sometimes. I really try to mean it when I say it now. So.. if I say to you, "I'll be praying that....", then you know I will!!! :)

Great point! Thanks for sharing. One thing I was told was that if you stay you are going to pray do it right away. You can always pray for the situation or person again later if you choose but doing it right aways allows you to make sure you follow through. I am praying for you every night that I check your blog (which is most nights) & sometimes throughout the day. Thanks for praying for us.
